Temp Hygienist

We are seeking a temporary experienced dental hygiene professional to work in a respected general dental practice known for delivering exceptional care in a warm, modern, and patient-focused environment. In this role, you will provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene services, including cleanings, periodontal maintenance, oral health assessments, patient education, and charting. You will work closely with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow, maintain accurate records, and help ensure each patient receives a positive and comfortable experience. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high standards of care are essential.

Responsibilities include:
- Performing prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and routine hygiene procedures
- Taking and reviewing patient history and vital signs as needed
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Documenting findings accurately and maintaining thorough clinical records
- Assisting with infection control and maintaining a clean, organized operatory
- Collaborating with the dentist and support team to provide seamless patient care

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of dental hygiene experience
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current licensure and required certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to delivering excellent patient care in a general practice setting

This is a Temporary position with a competitive compensation rate of $65 per hour. The schedule includes a 1-hour lunch break. Parking is available behind the building for added convenience.
