New York, NYJoin Our Friendly and Supportive Dental Practice as a Dental Hygienist!
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate full-time Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team in Glen Oaks, NY. Our general dental practice, established in 2003, prides itself on providing high-quality dental care in a patient-centric environment. With a supportive staff that includes two front desk personnel and two dental assistants available at all times, we ensure your focus can remain solely on patient care.
As a Dental Hygienist in our office, you'll work in a positive and collaborative atmosphere, with the freedom to utilize two hygienist rooms. Our dental assistants are trained to manage X-rays, prepare treatment areas, and assist with patient seating, allowing you to dedicate your time to delivering exceptional hygiene services. You'll see one patient at a time, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in calculus removal, cavitron use, dental charting, fluoride treatment, local anesthesia administration, oral cancer screenings, and patient education, including oral hygiene instruction and pit and fissure sealants. Familiarity with Dentrix and digital X-rays is a plus. While we prefer candidates with experience, we warmly welcome recent graduates eager to begin their careers in a nurturing environment.
Our hygienists work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and one Saturday each month, with a one-hour lunch break every day. We prioritize safety and comfort in our practice, providing all necessary personal protective equipment, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, gloves, and masks.
