Dental Hygienist for a Practice That’s Anything But Ordinary!

High Standards Dental Studio is a privately owned, general dentistry practice located in Decatur, GA. We wish to help every patient reach a higher level of health using evidence-based care tailored specifically to each individual and use the latest technology that allows us to provide the best treatment possible. We are seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team!

Our ideal Dental Hygienist will excel in:
-Have a solid understanding of periodontal disease
-Record dental histories and documentation of periodontal & restorative conditions with specific details
-Effective instrumentation with both hand instruments and ultrasonics
-Attention to detail and be able to effectively evaluate your own work
-Partnering with the Dentist to instruct and educate patients on periodontal disease and other office procedures - including basic implant principles
-Be able to write/communicate effectively with little to no grammatical errors
-Maintain their own instruments and clinical room
-Assisting with other office duties (as their schedule allows) - such as cleaning and helping assist the doctor/front desk
-Generate correspondence letters to referring dental offices regarding patient care
-Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Our Dental Hygiene Requirements include:
-Associate’s Degree from ADA accredited dental hygiene school (new grads welcome!)
-Current state licensure
-HIPAA, OSHA & CPR Certified

This is a part-time, Monday & Wednesday position with patient care from 8am-5pm. No nights or weekends. If you have experience with Dentrix/Open Dental and working in a digital office that’s a huge plus, too! Our benefit package includes a competitive wage based upon experience, along with:

Pay: $45 - $50 per hour
