Registered Dental Hygienist

Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our multi-doctor
private practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care,
performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. This
position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, and anatomy, and the ability to
work effectively with patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
● Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments.
● Review patient medical histories and documentation to ensure comprehensive care.
● Assist in evaluating patients’ oral health and contribute to the development of
personalized treatment plans.
● Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental
visits.
● Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and documentation.
● Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide the best patient care.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with clinic protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology.
● Previous experience in a dental clinic setting, preferably with familiarity using Dentrix
software.
● Strong understanding of oral health anatomy and related clinical procedures.
● Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively on oral
health.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for treatment planning and
documentation.
● Ability to create a positive, welcoming experience for patients, promoting their overall
oral health.

Additional Details: Office Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation DOE: $45 - $52
