New York, NYWe are seeking a reliable, patient-focused dental assistant to join our professional dental team in a full-time role. This position supports a dynamic practice that offers General, Periodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, Multi-specialty, Multi doctor, and Endodontics services. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and committed to providing excellent care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking and processing dental X-rays, and maintaining proper infection control and safety standards. Additional duties include charting, updating patient records, setting up treatment areas, and helping ensure smooth daily workflow. Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach are essential when working with patients of all ages.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of dental assisting experience. Experience in multiple specialties is a plus, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well as part of a team are equally important. We offer a supportive environment where you can contribute to quality patient care and grow your skills in a varied clinical setting.
