Insurance Coordinator

Position: Insurance Coordinator

This position is built around insurance — verifying benefits and insurance claim management. You'll work in a supporting role to our treatment coordinators — verifying benefits thoroughly and accurately so they have everything they need to present treatment to patients with confidence. On the claims side, you'll own the tracking and status of filed claims and take the lead on appealing delays and pushback from insurance companies. It's a supporting role that requires someone who knows dental insurance deeply and takes real ownership of their work.

In addition to the core duties, you'll participate fully in the day-to-day rhythm of a busy dental practice answering phones, scheduling appointments, and patient check-in / check-out.

What we're looking for:

Minimum 3 years of dental insurance experience — verification and claims management knowledge required
Experience in appealing claim delays through narratives, calls, and resubmission for payment resolution
Familiarity with dental practice management software
Detail-oriented, organized, and someone who follows through without being reminded
A genuine team player who thrives in a close-knit, private practice environment
Compensation ranges from $18–$20 based on experience
