We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic dental assistant to join our dynamic pediatric dental practice, specializing in pedodontics. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a lively environment, as you will be working 3-5 days a week, only with our passionate team, providing essential dental care to children.
In this role, your responsibilities will include assisting with exams, cleanings, X-rays, major procedures and fluoride treatments, while ensuring tools and equipment are sterilized and ready for use. You will play a vital role in educating children and parents about oral hygiene, employing age-appropriate communication methods, and utilizing behavior management techniques to create a positive experience for our young patients.
Your proficiency in Eaglesoft, chairside assistance, dental charting, and patient recall and scheduling will be essential. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental setting is required, and while being cross-trained is preferred, it is not mandatory.
