Dental Assistant
LOCATION
Sandy Springs, GAWe are a private, fee-for-service, single-doctor Holistic Cosmetic & TMJ dental practice seeking a dependable full-time dental assistant to join our patient-focused team. Our office provides general dentistry in a thoughtful, personalized, and relaxed setting that is not rushed or high-volume. We value exceptional care, clear communication, and a calm experience for every patient.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience with excellent interpersonal skills, and is comfortable with chairside assistance, four-handed dentistry, dental charting, patient charting, infection control, sterile procedures, taking impressions, ordering supplies, and expanded functions when permitted. Experience with cosmetic dentistry and technology such as Intraoral Camera, iTero, Dentrix, DEXIS, KaVo, Medit, NOMAD Pro, and CAD/CAM is preferred. Strong customer service skills, communication, attention to detail, and good computer skills are essential.
A high school diploma is required, and graduation from dental assistant school is preferred. Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and health and safety regulations is important. Coronal polishing or other regulated non-surgical task experience is a plus.
