We are seeking a dedicated and passionate dental hygienist to join our multi-specialty dental office. Our practice provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient base, including Medicaid and private insurance. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic, health-focused team that fosters a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role:
As a dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. You’ll be responsible for performing dental cleanings, administering preventive treatments, taking digital radiographs, and utilizing intraoral cameras. Your expertise will help us provide valuable patient education, guiding them in maintaining optimal oral health. We're currently looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week, with Fridays being a required day. Bonus points if you speak Spanish, but not required. If you desire to increase your hours, there's potential to transition into a full-time position!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations
- Take and develop digital radiographs/X-rays
- Utilize intraoral cameras for enhanced diagnostics
- Provide educational resources and preventive care to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established protocols
Skills and Tools:
You will be utilizing Open Dental software, which streamlines our record-keeping and patient management. Familiarity with digital radiography and the iTero system is preferred, but not required. We welcome dental hygienists of all experience levels, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals, to consider this opportunity.
Salary:
Pay will be 60/hr or a percentage of production, whichever is higher!
