We are a growing, team-oriented dental practice looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our hygiene department. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full-time as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care
Perform:
Adult and child prophylaxis
Scaling and root planing (SRP)
Periodontal maintenance
Sealants and fluoride treatments
Arestin placement (or willingness to learn)
Conduct thorough patient assessments and screenings
Take and review diagnostic radiographs
Deliver clear, confident patient education and treatment recommendations
Accurately document clinical findings and treatment in patient charts
Work efficiently within an assisted hygiene schedule

Team & Leadership Responsibilities

Work closely with a hygiene assistant to maximize efficiency and patient care
Help train and guide hygiene assistants in:
X-ray quality and technique
Patient communication
Clinical flow and readiness
Provide constructive feedback to improve team performance
Collaborate with doctor and team on treatment planning and case acceptance

What We’re Looking For

Current RDH license in North Carolina
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Confidence in discussing treatment and educating patients
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Ability to stay productive and organized in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to grow within a structured hygiene program

Schedule

Part-time with opportunity to grow into full-time
Days/hours to be discussed based on availability and office needs
