Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and patient care processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and check patients in and out.
Schedule and confirm appointments.
Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
Assist patients with completing forms and documentation.
Verify and update patient records.
Explain office policies and procedures to patients.
Send appointment reminders via phone, email, or text.
Coordinate and present treatment plans.
Insurance and billing experience required.
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage.
Handle billing and statement inquiries.
Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
Provide cost estimates for treatments

Administrative Duties:
Maintain patient records and update information.
Organize and file documents digitally or physically.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies.
Coordinate with the dental team for smooth workflow.

Job Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience working as a dental front desk receptionist
Skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with Softdent dental software
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of insurance verification and billing.
Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7:30AM to 4:30PM
Friday 7:30AM to 2:00PM hours may vary.
