Dental Assistant – Hygiene Department (Full-Time)
Monday-Friday
Pay $18.00 and up based on experience

Barsoum Dental in Chino is looking for a positive, friendly, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to support our Hygiene Department. This position does not require an RDA license. If you bring good energy, reliability, and a willingness to support your teammates, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist hygienist with periodontal charting
- Provide chairside support as needed
- Sterilize instruments and prepare hygiene trays
- Stock supplies
- Assemble patient toothbrush kits
- Turn over rooms quickly and efficiently
- Take radiographs and perform coronal polishing
- Schedule patients for their next appointments

Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and a team-first mentality
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Dental assisting experience is a plus (but not required)

Required Certifications (must be current):
- 8-hour Infection Control course
- 2-hour California Dental Practice Act course
- BLS/CPR certification
- Radiation Safety certificate
- Coronal Polishing certificate

Black scrubs are preferred for back office, if you have them. Front office typically wears all black business casual attire. HR does require temps to complete appropriate paperwork, results in W2. Compensation is received via direct deposit every other Thursday.

Disposable gowns, Face shields, Goggles, Latex gloves, N95 masks, Nitrile gloves, Regular masks, Additional: Disposable hair bonnets and disposable shoe covers are also available.
