We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant team in a part-time capacity. Our practice specializes in general dentistry and operates in a multi-doctor environment, providing patients with exceptional care in a professional and friendly setting. As our practice continues to grow, we seek an experienced hygienist who is passionate about enhancing patient experiences and oral health.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in providing preventative and therapeutic care to our patients. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive oral health assessments, performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and offering fluoride treatments. Additionally, you will provide patient education on oral hygiene instructions, monitor vital signs, and engage in soft tissue management. Proficiency in utilizing modern dental technology such as digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and laser technology is essential.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Current CPR certification and Nitrous Oxide administration and monitoring certification
- Laser certification is required for this role
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix and DEXIS
Work Environment:
Our office prioritizes the safety and well-being of our team and patients. We provide necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. We value a balanced work life, offering a lunch break of 40-60 minutes based on daily scheduling needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $60 to $70, depending on your experience and skill level. As a valued team member, you will also enjoy paid time off (PTO) to support your well-being.
