Registered Dental Hygienist
LOCATION
Walnut Creek, CAWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join our general practice on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for someone who values high-quality patient care, clear communication, and a supportive team environment. In this role, you will play an important part in helping patients maintain healthy smiles while contributing to the smooth daily operation of the office.
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive care procedures in accordance with standard clinical protocols. You will also take and process radiographs as permitted, assess oral health conditions, document findings accurately, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. A strong focus on patient comfort and personalized care is essential. You will see one patient at a time and typically spend 60 minutes with each patient, allowing time to deliver thoughtful, thorough treatment and instruction.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree or equivalent college-level education in dental hygiene, along with the necessary licensure and clinical knowledge required to practice confidently in a general dental office. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor are highly valued. Experience with chairside communication, preventive dentistry, and patient-centered care is preferred.
This full-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule in a well-organized environment. A lunch break of 1 hour and 30 minutes is provided, giving you ample time to recharge during the day. Parking is available in a parking lot for added convenience. Compensation is $75 per hour.
