Wilson Dental Spa is a premier, veteran-owned, high-performance private practice in Waldorf, Maryland. We leverage state-of-the-art dental technology to provide life-changing cosmetic, veneer, implant, and family dentistry within a high-end, boutique spa atmosphere.
We are expanding our executive team and seeking an autonomous Dental Practice Director to take full business and operational ownership of our single-location practice. We are looking for a true business leader who treats the practice like a high-growth company, optimizing our business structures so our clinical team can remain entirely focused on exceptional patient care. What We Are Looking For:
• Education/Experience: A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent master’s degree in healthcare administration is highly preferred or a minimum of 8 to 10 years of elite, senior-level dental practice management or director experience. You must have a verified history of managing a clinic with at least $1.5M+ in annual revenue.
• Software Elite: Expert, day-to-day operational mastery of Dentrix is mandatory. Experience with dental analytics platforms (e.g., DentalIntel) is a major asset.
Core Executive Responsibilities:
• 📊 Financial & Overhead Control: Directly review and optimize monthly P&L statements, manage dental/lab inventory budgets, track strategic business KPIs, and maintain our corporate overhead margins at or below 60%.
• 📅 Dentrix Schedule Optimization: Design, enforce, and audit high-efficiency block scheduling inside Dentrix to maximize daily production per hour, eliminate open chairs, and optimize our staff alignment during our alternating Saturdays.
• 💎 High-Value Case Acceptance Lift: Partner with our front-office team and treatment coordinators to refine presentation workflows, maximize third-party financing conversion, and aggressively track pending cosmetic, veneer, and implant cases.
• 👥 Team Leadership & Performance: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, clear performance scorecards, and cross-training matrixes for our administrative and clinical staff.
• 🏦 Billing & A/R Oversight: Supervise the insurance verification and billing workflow to guarantee clean claims submission, immediate denial appeals, and keep accounts past 90 days strictly below 5%.
