Join Our Team as a Dental Hygienist!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our well-established general dental practice on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional committed to providing high-quality dental care and patient education.

As a Dental Hygienist in our office, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. Your responsibilities will include performing comprehensive dental cleanings, including calculus removal and prophylaxis on patients of all ages. You will spend approximately 50 minutes with each patient, allowing you to develop strong relationships and provide personalized care tailored to their individual needs.

Your expertise will extend to performing digital radiography and taking X-rays, utilizing our state-of-the-art NOMAD Pro for efficient and effective imaging. Additionally, you will be responsible for applying pit and fissure sealants as part of preventive care. Accuracy in maintaining patient records will be essential, as you will document treatment plans and patient progress diligently.

Patient education is a significant aspect of this role. You will have the opportunity to educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and the importance of regular dental visits. Your ability to communicate effectively will help empower patients to make informed decisions regarding their oral health.

This part-time position offers a flexible schedule with a 30-minute lunch break, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We value teamwork and collaboration, so you will work closely with our dental team to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for our patients.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program, possess a current dental hygiene license, and demonstrate proficiency in the necessary skills outlined above. A passion for patient care and a commitment to continuing education in the field are essential traits we are looking for.
