Evolution at Tanglewood Dental is a growing private dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, modern environment. We are looking for an organized, motivated, and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office and help lead our team.
Position Summary
The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the practice operates efficiently while supporting both the administrative and clinical teams. This individual will oversee office operations, staff management, scheduling, financial performance, and patient experience while working closely with the doctors to achieve practice goals.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is proactive, solution-oriented, and enjoys creating organized systems that help both patients and employees succeed.
Responsibilities
- Leadership
* Lead and support the front office team
* Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
* Conduct regular team meetings and performance discussions
* Foster a positive, accountable workplace culture
* Manage employee schedules and office coverage
- Operations
* Oversee the daily operations of the practice
* Improve office workflows and operational efficiency
* Maintain office policies and standard operating procedures
* Coordinate vendors, office maintenance, and supplies
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and office policies
- Financial & Administrative
* Monitor daily production, collections, and office performance
* Review reports and key performance indicators
* Assist with budgeting and expense management
* Oversee payroll preparation, PTO tracking, and administrative records
* Help manage insurance and billing processes alongside the administrative team
- Patient Experience
* Ensure patients receive exceptional customer service
* Resolve patient concerns professionally and promptly
* Monitor scheduling efficiency and patient flow
* Support patient retention and referral initiatives
- Qualifications
* Previous dental office management experience preferred
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning
* Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar practice management software preferred
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
