Luna Dental has proudly served the Winston-Salem community for over 25 years as a trusted, 100% fee-for-service practice. Our team is known for its stability, professionalism, and dedication—many of our staff members have been with us for 10+ years. We’re now seeking an experienced Associate Dentist to join our patient-centered team and continue delivering the high-quality care our patients expect.
What We Offer
* Compensation: $850/day or 32% of collections (whichever is greater, always)
* Sign-On / Relocation Bonus: $10,000 (18-month commitment)
* Equity Opportunity: Phantom equity with 5% vesting every rolling 2 years
* Benefits Package:
* W-2 employment
* Health insurance (65% of premium covered, begins after 60 days)
* 401(k) with 4% match (after 1 year)
* In-house dental coverage for immediate family (lab fees apply)
* Unlimited PTO compensation base (note: no paid holidays)
* Free on-site parking
* $200 annual scrub allowance (any brand; black/dark grey)
* Continuing Education: $3,500 per year ($5,500 if attending Pankey Institute)
Schedule
* Tuesday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (new year: 7:30–3:30 Tue–Thu, 7:30–2:30 Fri)
* No weekends, no late evenings
Practice Details
* 6 ops
* Long-standing, relationship-based, FFS patient base
* Currently using Curve; transitioning to Open Dental or CareStack
* Send out complex ortho, sedation dentistry, pediatric, and 3rd molars
* In-office procedures: basic implants, basic anterior & premolar endo, mild–moderate clear aligner therapy, surgical extractions
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (5+ years preferred)
* Comfortable running a $1.5M–$2M solo practice
* Strong clinical judgment with a focus on patient relationships and comprehensive care
