We are excited to announce an opening for a part-time Dental Hygienist in our well-established, general dental practice in Gloucester. With 22 years of providing excellent dental care, our office has gained a reputation for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to join our team as we prepare for the retirement of our valued hygienist.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient care, ensuring that our patients maintain optimal oral health. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, taking and developing X-rays, conducting assessments of patients' oral health, and providing personalized oral hygiene education. In our practice, we emphasize a one-on-one connection with our patients, allowing for tailored treatment and a comfortable environment.
Candidates should possess at least two years of relevant experience in a dental hygiene role, preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current dental practices, a commitment to maintaining patient comfort, and a dedication to fostering long-lasting patient relationships. A valid dental hygienist license and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Our work environment encourages professionalism while promoting a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients. In this part-time position, you will enjoy a flexible schedule while benefiting from a competitive hourly rate ranging from $60 to $70. Please note that scrubs are preferred for attire and, while our office does not have a break room, we do provide a one-hour lunch break to help you recharge during your workday.
