We are currently seeking a part-time Front Office/Hygiene Coordinator to support our multi-doctor practice. This position is Mon/Tues/Wed and the first Friday of every month. As the Front Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our patient experience. Your responsibilities will include checking patients in and out, dental insurance verification, scheduling appointments, maintaining the hygiene schedule and assisting with treatment planning. Proficiency in Eaglesoft is preferred, as well as experience in dental insurance verification. Strong organization and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and assist with appointment scheduling using Eaglesoft and Revenue Well.
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear and courteous communication to patients and providers.
Perform insurance verification, authorization, and follow-up to ensure accurate billing and claims processing.
Maintain accurate medical records by reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collect payments for services
Assist with appointment reminders, and managing office supplies to ensure an efficient front desk operation.
Experience
Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance billing procedures.
Demonstrated ability to handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and health information management practices is required.
