We are an established general dentistry practice in search of a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. Our office provides a supportive and friendly environment, emphasizing exceptional patient care and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist in our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. You will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere that encourages good oral hygiene habits. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, taking X-rays, conducting periodontal assessments, and educating patients on proper oral care techniques. We pride ourselves on seeing one patient at a time, allowing you to provide focused attention and personalized care.
Position Details:
- Work Schedule: Part-time hours are available on Tuesdays from 1 PM to 8 PM, Wednesdays from 11 AM to 6 PM, and Thursdays from 8 AM to 1 PM.
- Patient Interactions: New patients will typically require one hour, while recall patients will need approximately 45 minutes. Scaling and root planing will also be allotted one hour per patient.
- Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $65.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental hygienist is preferred.
- A local anesthetic license is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
For your safety and comfort, our practice provides personal protective equipment (PPE) including nitrile gloves and regular masks. We also ensure convenient access to parking at the rear of our building.
