We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, complemented by some expertise in various dental specialties such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and dental implants(not required but preferred)
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize dental terminology accurately and communicate treatment options clearly to patients to ensure informed decision-making.
Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination.
Collaborate with specialists such as endodontist or oral surgeons when necessary for complex cases.
Should be comfortable using Dentrix practice management software.
Provide patient education on oral health maintenance and post-treatment care to foster long-term wellness.
Ensure adherence to all healthcare diagnosis standards and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, and prosthodontics.
Proficiency in using dental software Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control practices.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
Demonstrated competence in dental diagnosis, client assessment, and treatment planning within a fast-paced clinical setting.
Experience with dental office operations including medical documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations is preferred.
