Join Our Dental Team as a Dental Hygienist!

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated dental hygienist looking for an opportunity to join a patient-centered, single-doctor private practice? We are seeking a full-time dental hygienist to become an integral part of our team, working alongside a skilled doctor and a supportive staff committed to providing top-notch dental care.

In our practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality oral hygiene services while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant experience for our patients. Your day will involve providing one-on-one care, as you will see one patient at a time, spending approximately one hour with each. Your skills will be essential in performing various clinical tasks and educational initiatives to promote optimal oral health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough calculus removal using both hand instruments and ultrasonic scaling tools
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide while monitoring patients for their comfort and safety
- Conduct gingivitis and periodontal screenings, as well as provide treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good oral health practices
- Perform oral cancer screenings and manage oral pathology assessments
- Utilize advanced technology, including digital radiography (DEXIS), carestream systems, and intraoral cameras to enhance diagnostic efficiency
- Document patient information accurately in Dentrix software and maintain clear communication with all team members

To thrive in this role, you should be CPR certified and possess expertise in various hygiene techniques, including the administration of irrigation agents, application of pit and fissure sealants, and treatment involving chlorhexidine.
