Chairside Assistant
LOCATION
Pawtucket, RIWe are seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our growing general dentistry practice. This position is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable while supporting a busy, patient-focused team. We are looking for a team member with a great chairside manner, strong skills in restorative dentistry, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in every interaction.
Responsibilities include assisting with four-handed dentistry, preparing treatment rooms, taking and documenting digital images, supporting procedures involving fixed prosthodontics, implants, removable prosthodontics, and veneers, and helping maintain smooth daily operations. Experience with Open Dental, Microsoft Office, intraoral camera systems, and Medit is preferred. Because this role is cross-trained, flexibility and a willingness to assist with both clinical and administrative tasks are important.
A high school education or equivalent is required. Candidates should be dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a welcoming environment where patients of all ages receive preventive care, restorations, extractions, dentures, implants, and cosmetic services.
