DENTAL HYGIENIST

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist to join our established general dental practice on a full-time basis, beginning August 24th. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional who enjoys providing high-quality preventive care in a supportive, family-oriented environment.

Our practice has been serving patients with consistency and care since 1996, and we have operated at our current location since 2011. We are a small office with two hygiene rooms and one room dedicated to dental treatment, allowing for a streamlined and focused clinical setting. The team values professionalism, efficiency, and a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be confident in a range of clinical responsibilities, including calculus removal, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal screening, periodontal treatment, gingivitis screening, fluoride treatment, oral cancer screening, oral pathology screening, pediatric hygiene, patient education, treatment planning, dental charting, and irrigation agents. Experience with ultrasonic scaling, digital X-rays, intraoral camera use, and Open Dental is preferred. CPR certification is required.

This role involves seeing one patient at a time, with appointment times typically scheduled for 30 minutes for small children, 40–50 minutes for older children, and 60 minutes for adults. The schedule supports thorough patient care and meaningful education, while maintaining efficiency in a busy general practice setting.

We provide the necessary PPE to support a safe clinical environment, including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Staff also benefit from a private breakroom with a microwave, refrigerator, and staff-only restroom. A 60-minute lunch break is provided during the workday.
