Union City, NJWe are a growing dental practice seeking a reliable, detail-oriented dental assistant to join our team in a full-time role. Our two-doctor practice offers a modern, renovated office with a friendly environment where teamwork and patient care are top priorities. We provide care in both general and private dentistry, and we are looking for someone who enjoys supporting a smooth, organized clinical workflow.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of dental assisting experience and a high school education. An X-ray license is preferred, and scanner experience is strongly valued. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy office are important for success in this role.
Responsibilities include assisting chairside, preparing treatment rooms, supporting patient comfort, sterilizing instruments, and helping maintain an orderly clinical area. No cross-training is required.
We offer competitive pay of $25 to $34 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 1 week of vacation after 6 months. A 30-minute lunch break is provided, and street parking is available for staff. Personal protective equipment is supplied, including disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks.
