Dental Hygenist

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate dental hygienist to join our established, privately owned dental practice in a full-time role. Our office has served the community for more than 25 years and is committed to general and cosmetic dentistry with a calm, patient-centered approach. As a multi-doctor practice offering both PPO and private fee-for-service care, we value quality, consistency, and a genuinely welcoming experience for every patient.

The ideal candidate brings excellent clinical ability, strong communication skills, and a polished bedside manner. We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, educating them on oral health, and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit. You will typically see one patient at a time, with an average of one hour scheduled per patient to support thorough, unhurried care.

Responsibilities include:
- Performing prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, calculus removal, and cavitron therapy
- Providing fluoride treatment, oral hygiene instruction, patient education, and patient recall support
- Completing oral cancer screening and oral pathology screening
- Taking and interpreting digital x-rays
- Supporting bleaching, whitening tray fabrication, pit and fissure sealants, and veneer-related patient care
- Administering nitrous oxide and Oraqix as appropriate
- Maintaining sterile procedures and contributing to efficient scheduling
- Working with modern systems and technology, including Dentrix, DEXIS, lasers, Cerec, Trios scanner, and 3D imaging

Required qualifications:
- College-level education in dental hygiene or related training
- Current licensure and relevant clinical experience
- Strong bedside manner and a patient-first mindset
- Comfort with modern dental software and digital imaging

We provide a professional work environment with disposable gowns, face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. A 1-hour lunch break is included, and street parking is available.
