Full Time Hygienist - South Austin

We’re Hiring a Talented Dental Hygienist in South Austin!

At our well-established and moderately paced office, we prioritize quality care and a positive work environment. We schedule:
- 1.5 hours for new patient exams and scaling and root planing.
- 1 hour for periodic checkups.
- No extra patient overflow column – We treat patients like family.

Compensation Highlights:
Hourly Rate: $47–$55/hour
Effective Hourly Rate: up to $55–$63/hour, when including employer-paid taxes and benefits:

What We’re Looking For
Our ideal hygienist is:
- Passionate about providing exceptional patient care and education
- Comfortable discussing conditions and recommending treatment
- Energetic, team-oriented, and has a professional demeanor
- Skilled with Dentrix or similar software
- A great communicator who follows through with patients
- Organized, reliable, and excellent with time management
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required

Your Schedule
Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM–12:30 PM (We are open 1 Friday per month)

Responsibilities Include
- Perform high-quality patient care, including prophys, SRPs, and new patient exams
- Take diagnostic x-rays, intra-oral photos, and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral health and recommended procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care
