Scheduling Coordinator

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job description:

Here at Moon Orthodontics, our scheduling coordinator is a full time person who oversees our practice schedule and administrative duties. They'll help to follow and maintain proper scheduling best practices to ensure the practice runs in a an efficient and on-time manner. They are organized, love working with people and have great communication skills. Our scheduling coordinator acts a liaison between patients and the practice.

Essential Functions:
-Extended periods of standing or sitting.
-Ability to lift packages 40+ pounds
-Written and verbal communication skills
-Computer and software skills
-Ability to read and interpret text online and print
-Responsibilities:

Tasks of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
-Create and maintain a tidy reception area
-Welcome and greet all patients who enter the door
-Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments
-Answer incoming calls within the first 1-2 rings
-Answer all incoming emails within 24 hours
-Maintain and monitor an efficient schedule
-Patients without appointments reports
-Morning meeting report
-Insurance verification
-Requirements / Preferences:

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of orthodontic scheduling experience. We are willing to train the right candidate.
