Registered Dental Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant with 2+ years' experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that is punctual and dependable. We are a fast-paced office with great doctors and supportive staff.

Duties:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and dental procedures
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take 2D and 3D radiographic images
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Utilize 3D scanners for dental imaging
- Perform dental coding as required
- Treatment plan dental procedures that are recommended by our dentist

Skills:

- Proficiency in using Open Dental Software preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of dental treatment planning
- Understanding of how important it is to multi-task and stay on time
- Experience with X-Ray equipment and techniques
- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology in dentistry
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate dental records and documentation
- Strong background in general dentistry procedures

*Spanish speaking preferred but not required

*Nitrous certified required
