We are seeking a motivated, patient-focused dental hygiene professional to join a busy, supportive dental team in a general, multi-doctor, private practice setting. This full-time role is ideal for someone who values comprehensive care, strong clinical standards, and a collaborative environment where patient comfort and quality outcomes come first.
In this position, you will provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic hygiene services while working with one patient at a time and typically spending one hour with each patient. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough cleanings, periodontal maintenance, oral health assessments, patient education, and digital documentation. You will also support the dental team by taking and processing diagnostics as needed, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure each patient receives an efficient, positive experience.
Our office uses modern technology and clinical tools, including Dentrix, DEXIS, intraoral cameras, iTero, digital X-rays, film X-rays, and lasers. Experience with these systems is preferred, and comfort with learning new technologies is important. Because this practice is integrative in nature, we also utilize saliva testing, laser therapy, and biocompatible products. A strong interest in whole-body wellness and a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to care will be highly valued.
We are looking for someone who is professional, organized, compassionate, and able to communicate clearly with patients and team members. A college-level education and current hygiene credentials are expected. Candidates should be comfortable working in a practice that serves a diverse patient base and maintains a high standard of care across multiple doctors and providers.
To support a safe clinical environment, the office provides goggles, latex gloves, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Our team also enjoys the added warmth and comfort of therapy dogs in the office, helping create a calm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff alike.
This full-time position includes a 1-hour lunch break and offers hourly compensation. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan available after 1 year of employment.
If you are dedicated to excellent patient care and want to grow within a progressive, team-oriented dental practice, this opportunity may be a great fit.
