Position Details
As a Part-Time Dental Hygienist, you'll enjoy working in a private, multi-doctor practice where the focus is on quality-driven dentistry rather than rushing through appointments. You'll spend approximately one hour with each patient, allowing you the time to deliver thorough and comprehensive dental cleanings along with personalized periodontal maintenance.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Performing scaling and root planing as necessary
- Taking digital X-rays and conducting periodontal charting
- Educating patients about oral hygiene and improving their dental health
- Reviewing medical and dental histories and maintaining accurate clinical notes (experience with Dentrix is preferred)
- Collaborating closely with our experienced team of general dentists to enhance patient care
- Ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient

The ideal candidate will be a licensed dental hygienist in California with a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality, relationship-focused care. You should be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a team environment.

Salary:
Compensation starts at $60 per hour, depending on experience.
