SmileATL is a privately owned, fee-for-service cosmetic practice known for elevated clinical care and a warm, concierge-style patient experience. With a growing team and modern technology, we’re looking for a Treatment Plan Coordinator who loves helping patients say “yes” to the care they deserve.
The Opportunity:
As our Treatment Plan Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to guide for patients—from reviewing recommended care to coordinating scheduling and financial arrangements. You’ll collaborate closely with 5 doctors and 5 hygienists in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
What You’ll Do:
Present treatment options clearly and confidently; handle questions and objections with empathy
Build and organize multi-visit treatment plans; coordinate scheduling to keep providers efficiently booked
Review fees, financial options, and timing; support case acceptance and follow-through
Verify coverage when applicable and support dental billing workflows
Maintain accurate, detailed notes and follow-ups in Dentrix
Cross-train with front office teammates to keep the patient journey seamless
What You Bring:
2–3+ years in a dental front office role with strong treatment presentation experience
Proficiency in Dentrix (required)
Excellent communication, customer service, and professional polish
Comfort multitasking in a busy setting with multiple providers
Working knowledge of dental billing/financial discussions
Team-first mindset and a warm, welcoming presence for every patient

My name is Laken and I am the office manager for Smile ATL. Thank you for accepting my request! If this is your first time with our practice, I will need to make a copy of your DL and have you fill out a W9.
Please arrive on time, especially if this is your first time working with our practice. The lead assistant and hygienist need to make sure they have enough time to go over the office protocols and schedule.
We have 4 Doctors: Dr. Timothy Resuta. DMD, JD {owner}, Dr. Jacob Truan DMD, Dr. Shelli Funt DDS, and Dr. Gabrielle Going Giddens DMD.
5 Hygienists, 4 Assistants and 5 Front Office Staff.
11 operatories, 2 sterilizations on opposite ends of our practice, 1 lab, and a staff lounge supplied with snacks and coffee. There is also a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven.
Just so you know, we do not have a set lunch block, we eat in between patients. If you prefer that I block a 30-60 min lunch break, please let me know at the time of the request.
