We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our thriving private practice, specializing in General, Cosmetic, and Family Dentistry. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and professional environment, and we are excited to find the right candidate to enhance our team.
About the Role:
As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include performing comprehensive dental cleanings, providing patient education on oral hygiene, and assisting in various dental procedures. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a single doctor in a supportive team atmosphere. Ideal candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a deep knowledge of dental practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and cleanings, including Scaling and Root Planing (SRP).
- Provide whitening services using Zoom Whitening and Colgate Whitening products.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and assist with treatment planning.
- Utilize your expertise in SoftDent and Carestream for patient documentation and scheduling.
- Collaborate closely with the dentist regarding fixed prosthodontics, implants, and cosmetic procedures, such as veneers and Invisalign.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
- An active state hygiene license and certifications in CPR and other relevant areas.
- Familiarity with current dental technologies and practices to ensure optimal patient care.
Work Environment:
Our office prioritizes safety and comfort, providing all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. We also ensure that our staff enjoy a healthy work-life balance, offering a one-hour lunch break during shifts.
Benefits:
