Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
Compensation: $20.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are a patient-focused family dental practice located in the beautiful mountain community of Woodland Park, Colorado, just west of Colorado Springs. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental front office professional who enjoys helping patients, coordinating care, and contributing to a positive office culture.
Position Summary
The Dental Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience. This position is responsible for managing front office operations, scheduling appointments, coordinating treatment plans, verifying insurance benefits, collecting patient payments, and supporting efficient daily practice operations.
Essential Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide exceptional customer service
Check patients in and out for appointments
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Assist patients in understanding treatment plans and financial arrangements
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and patient balances
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and team members
Manage incoming phone calls and patient inquiries
Support daily front office operations and administrative tasks
Ensure compliance with office policies and patient confidentiality requirements
Qualifications
One or more years of dental front office experience preferred
Knowledge of dental insurance verification and benefit coordination
Experience collecting patient payments and managing financial conversations
Familiarity with treatment planning and scheduling procedures
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency with dental practice management software is preferred
