Ottaviano Dental is a newly established, privately owned dental practice in West Long Branch, New Jersey, seeking a Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in a permanent part-time position.
The front desk is the heart of our office. You are often the first and last person our patients interact with, and I believe that every patient deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. I'm looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in providing exceptional customer service, and wants to help create an outstanding patient experience.
Whether you're an experienced dental receptionist or someone with a strong customer service background who is eager to learn, I am happy to mentor and support the right person.
Office Schedule
• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
What We're Looking For
• Previous dental front desk experience preferred (Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, dependable, organized, and team-oriented
• Comfortable discussing finances, collecting payments, and helping patients understand their treatment options
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Responsibilities
• Welcome patients
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements
• Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
• Manage recall and patient communications
• Coordinate the daily schedule with the clinical team
• Assist with administrative duties to help the office run efficiently
