Position Overview:
As a part-time dental hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by delivering high-quality preventive dental care and promoting optimal oral health!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide comprehensive patient education.
- Take and develop digital radiographs as necessary to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to document treatment and progress.
- Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to develop personalized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and practice policies.
Qualifications:
- An active dental hygienist license in the state.
- A degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive patient relationships.
- A strong commitment to patient care and a proactive approach to oral health education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.
