We are a long-standing general dental practice seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. Position Overview:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in delivering top-notch dental services to our patients. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Each day, you will see one patient at a time, spending 60 minutes with each to ensure they receive personalized attention and care tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapies using advanced techniques and equipment.
- Utilize Piezo or Cavitron technology to ensure optimal patient comfort and outcomes.
- Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and discussing oral hygiene habits.
- Educate patients on preventive care, oral hygiene techniques, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain accurate patient records and up-to-date compliance with infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license and certifications as required by state regulations.
- Experience with Piezo or Cavitron technology is preferred; Anesthesia Certification is a plus.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; a willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment is essential.
