We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our state-of-the-art dental practice. Our clean and friendly office provides a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients, making it an ideal environment for passionate professionals. This part-time position offers flexibility and an opportunity to work with a diverse patient base, including pediatric patients, through our multifaceted practice that accommodates Medicaid, PPO, and private insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care. Your duties will include:

- Conducting thorough dental cleanings and providing fluoride treatments.
- Administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when required, while ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients.
- Performing oral hygiene instruction and patient education to promote optimal oral health.
- Utilizing four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Assisting in patient recall and management, along with monitoring nitrous oxide during procedures.
- Performing pit and fissure sealants as needed and taking X-rays for diagnostic purposes when required.

Qualifications:

- An associate degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a dental hygienist role.
- Proficiency in bilingual communication is highly valued for engaging effectively with our diverse patient population.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with dental practice management software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues.

Work Environment:

Our office provides all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including disposable gowns, face shields, goggles, N95 masks, and nitrile gloves, ensuring the highest standards of safety for our staff and patients. We also offer convenient parking options for our employees.

We offer a competitive compensation rate of $57-$62 per hour, with a 30-minute lunch break to recharge between patients.
