Permanent Dental Assistant

LOCATION
New York, NY

We are seeking a full-time dental assistant for a private, single-doctor general practice. The ideal candidate is a skilled, dependable team player with at least 3 years of experience in a dental office setting. This role supports a busy general dentistry environment and requires a high school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities include chairside assistance, 4-handed dentistry, preparing treatment rooms, taking digital scans, and assisting with impressions. You will also help with equipment maintenance, sterilization, and ensuring instruments and operatories are ready for patient care. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with the doctor and team are essential.

We prefer someone who is adaptable, with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist where needed. Candidates should be comfortable providing high-quality support in a professional private practice setting and helping maintain smooth daily operations.

This position offers a paid lunch break, PTO, and a compensation rate of $25+ per hour, based on skills and experience. If you are an experienced dental assistant looking to contribute to a patient-focused team, this could be an excellent opportunity.
