Temp Dental Assistant
LOCATION
The Bronx, NYWe are seeking a dependable, patient-focused dental assistant to join a well-established dental practice. This temporary role supports a team serving a general practice with a wide range of services. The ideal candidate will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting smooth clinical flow and quality care.
Responsibilities include preparing & breaking down treatment rooms, taking digital X-rays, and supporting four-handed dentistry. Additional duties include sterilizing instruments, maintaining proper infection control, documenting patient information accurately, and helping with front-to-back office coordination as needed. Experience with Dentrix Ascend and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience and a high school education. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional, team-oriented attitude are essential. The ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a calm and caring approach is important.
We provide a supportive work environment with local parking available, a 1-hour unpaid lunch break, and PPE including latex gloves, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. Compensation is $21 per hour.
