Dental Assistant

We are seeking a part time dental assistant to join a well-established, patient-centered practice with 25 years of trusted service on Tuesdays. Our small, dedicated team of six values professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate care for a diverse patient base. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys supporting a wide range of procedures in a general, multi-specialty, single-doctor, Medicaid, HMO, PPO, private, and endodontic setting.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and strong skills in chair side assistance, dental charting, patient records, treatment planning, dental terminology, instrument sterilization, impressions, and oral hygiene instruction. Experience with crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, X-rays, intraoral camera use, Dentrix, front office support, appointment scheduling, and patient recall is highly valued. CPR certification, knowledge of patient care, vital signs monitoring, filing, and patient education are also important.
