Join Our Dental Team as a Hygienist

We are an established single-doctor dental practice committed to providing exceptional care to every patient during each visit. As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our mission of promoting optimal oral health.

Role Overview:
In this position, you will deliver high-quality dental hygiene services including routine cleanings, scaling and root planing (SRP), and patient education. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our dedicated team, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our patients. Each patient interaction is designed to be thorough yet comfortable, spending one hour for routine cleanings and 90 minutes for new patients.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal assessments.
- Use advanced techniques and technology, including certifications in laser therapy and nitrous oxide sedation, to enhance patient comfort and outcomes.
- Administer local anesthesia as needed, ensuring a pain-free experience for our patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and care practices tailored to their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the doctor to implement treatment plans.

Qualifications:
- A valid dental hygiene license and at least one year of experience in a dental office.
- Certifications in laser, nitrous oxide, and local anesthesia are required. If you do not have these you would have to be open to obtaining. We can pay for the course.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.

Work Environment:
Our office prioritizes staff safety and comfort, providing comprehensive personal protective equipment (PPE) including face shields, N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and regular masks. You will have access to a convenient parking lot located outside our building. We offer flexible lunch break options of 30 minutes to one hour, allowing you to recharge during your shift.
