Lawrenceville, GAWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented dental assistant to join our full-time team in a general dental practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable while supporting a smooth and efficient clinical workflow. The position requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with both patients and team members in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include preparing treatment areas, assisting during dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking and processing dental x-rays as permitted, updating patient records, and helping with chairside support throughout appointments. You will also help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the clinical areas and ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly prepared for daily use.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and a strong work ethic. Familiarity with dental terminology, infection control procedures, and basic computer skills is a plus.
