Accelerated Hygienist needed M&T 9-6 Sept-Dec

We are seeking a skilled and motivated dental professional to join our established, patient-centered practice on a full-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and delivering high-quality preventive care in a modern general dentistry setting with multiple doctors and PPO patients.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive hygiene services while supporting efficient, comfortable patient flow throughout the day. You will typically care for two patients at a time in separate rooms, spending approximately 60–90 minutes with each patient to complete thorough assessments, preventive treatment, education, and necessary follow-up care. A one-hour lunch break is provided.

Because this is an assisted hygiene environment, you will work alongside supportive clinical staff to help maintain an organized schedule and ensure each patient receives attentive care. Experience with laser and irrigation is preferred, as these services are offered in the practice and are part of our commitment to advanced preventive treatment options.

This position is currently available because our existing dental hygienist is on maternity leave, creating an immediate opportunity for a reliable and compassionate professional to step in and contribute to the continuity of care. We are looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience who is comfortable working in a busy, multi-doctor office and who can adapt well to a steady patient load while maintaining strong attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have a college-level education in dental hygiene, a solid understanding of periodontal health, and the ability to educate patients clearly and confidently about home care, treatment recommendations, and long-term oral wellness. Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a warm chairside manner are essential.
