Duties

Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and sterilization procedures to ensure readiness for each patient appointment.
Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry by handing instruments and managing patient comfort.
Take vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates to assist with patient assessment and ensure safety.
Manage electronic medical records Dentrix Ascend, accurately documenting procedures, diagnoses, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on dental procedures, post-operative care, and oral hygiene practices to promote ongoing health.
Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and updating medical records efficiently.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization standards to uphold safety standards within the dental clinic.
Experience

3 year minimum experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and dental assisting procedures is essential.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance ensures confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Ability to fabricate temporary crowns and perform digital impressions using iTero scanner
