Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

Job Description
Chesheim Dental Associates is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team. We are a well-established, patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Assist pediatric dentists during a variety of dental procedures
Perform EFDA duties in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
Place and finish restorative materials as permitted by certification
Take digital radiographs and dental impressions
Assist with nitrous oxide, sedation cases, and operating room procedures
Provide excellent patient care while helping children feel comfortable and at ease
Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation
Coordinate patient care with doctors, hygienists, and front office team members
Perform sterilization, operatory setup, and infection control procedures
Complete laboratory tasks as needed
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of pediatric dental assisting experience
EFDA Certification (Required)
PA Radiation Health & Safety Certification
Current CPR Certification
PA Child Abuse Clearance
PA State Police Clearance
FBI Background Check
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience with behavior management techniques and pediatric patient care
Positive attitude and commitment to professional growth
