Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients. This role includes greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling billing and insurance paperwork, and ensuring a welcoming and organized front office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and check them in/out.
Answer phone calls, emails, and manage appointment scheduling.
Verify insurance coverage and handle billing tasks.
Collect and process payments (copays, deductibles).
Maintain patient records and update information in the dental software.
Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists for smooth patient flow.
Handle patient concerns or questions with professionalism.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required).
Previous experience in a dental or medical office (preferred).
Familiarity with Open Dental
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
Hours available:
Full-time or part-time
Monday: 9-6
Tuesday: 9-6
Wednesday: 10-7
Thursday: 10-6
Friday: 10-4
Saturday: 9-3
