LOCATION
Plano, TXWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our high-performing dental team. Our practice focuses on comprehensive care including implants, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
This position is ideal for an assistant who is confident, efficient, patient-focused, and experienced in advanced dental procedures.
Position Overview
The Registered Dental Assistant plays a critical clinical role in supporting the doctor, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining smooth clinical flow. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable assisting in complex and high-value procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the doctor during:
Implant placement and restorations
Invisalign and orthodontic procedures
Cosmetic dentistry (veneers, smile design, whitening)
Crown & bridge procedures
Full-mouth rehabilitation cases
Take digital X-rays and CBCT
Perform intraoral scanning (iTero or similar systems preferred)
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Fabricate temporary crowns
Take impressions (traditional and digital)
Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene
Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
Maintain organized and efficient operatory flow
Qualifications
Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (state required)
Coronal polishing and sealant certification (if applicable in your state)
Minimum 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
Experience with implants and cosmetic procedures strongly preferred
Knowledge of digital dentistry (CBCT, intraoral scanners)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
