About the Role

This position is more than answering phones—it’s about leading the front office, ensuring efficiency, and partnering directly with the Doctor to keep the practice running smoothly.
●
You’ll be the go-to person for patients, staff, and the doctor in terms of organization, communication, and problem-solving.
●
Think of this role as a blend of customer service champion, insurance and billing expert, and practice operations coordinator.
●
You’ll help shape the patient experience from the initial phone call to the final treatment follow-up, while also ensuring the business side of the practice is accurate, compliant, and on track.
What You’ll Do Every Day
●
Lead the front office: manage schedules, patient flow, and daily checklists
●
Support treatment acceptance: present treatment plans, explain options, and handle financial arrangements confidently
●
Oversee insurance & billing: verify benefits, file claims, track AR, and ensure timely collections
●
Keep operations running: monitor KPIs, manage vendors, maintain compliance (HIPAA/OSHA), and assist with budgeting/reporting
●
Be the communication hub: ensure the doctor, clinical staff, and patients are always aligned
●

What We’re Looking For
●
3–6 years of dental front office experience (Dentrix required)
●
Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance workflows
●
Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets; QuickBooks a plus
●
Clear, friendly communicator with excellent organization and follow-through
●
Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a team setting and adapts quickly
Hours & Schedule: Monday & Thursday: 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM | Wednesday OFF | Tuesday: 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM | Friday: 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM

We seamlessly combine old fashioned patient care with the technology that makes for outstanding dentistry. Dr. Lipscomb's practice is General Dentistry including operative, restorative, implant restorations such as crowns, all on X, bridges, locator partials and dentures and preventive. Many of the crowns are made in office using the Cerac Omnicam. We have an Itero scanner and are able to offer Invisalign to our patients. From the front office to the back we work together to help provide the best possible outcome for our patients and an enjoyable workplace for our staff.
